Grief can affect you in ways you did not expect. You may feel sad, numb, angry, guilty, lost, or unsure how to carry on.

There is no right way to grieve, and you do not have to go through it alone.

You do not have to grieve alone

There is no right way to grieve. Counselling gives you space to talk about your loss in your own way, at your own pace.

What grief can feel like

Grief can be hard to explain, especially if people around you expect you to be coping. You might feel pressure to keep going, support others, or return to normal before you feel ready.

Grief can come after the death of someone close, but it can also follow other losses, such as the end of a relationship, a change in identity, illness, or a major life change.

Counselling gives you a confidential space to speak about your loss in your own way, without pressure to move on or make sense of everything quickly.

I will not tell you how you should be grieving. We will go at your pace and make room for whatever comes up.
